Who can join NextGen Ngwa?+
Any young person of Ngwa heritage, by birth, marriage, or adoption, ages 13 to 35. Allies and supporters who share our values are also warmly welcomed.
Is there a fee?+
NextGen membership is included in your family's DFWNNAUSA dues. Optional activities (camp, gala, national convention) may carry program costs, announced in advance.
What is the NNAUSA Convention?+
The annual gathering of the Ngwa National Association USA, culture, networking, education, and celebration. The 2026 convention is Sept 4–6 in Houston, hosted by the Katy, Austin, and Houston chapters.
How is safety handled for minors?+
Every adult coordinator is vetted by the Executive Council. Parental consent is required on the application; we never publish a minor's photo or full name without explicit consent.
How do I stay updated?+
Follow us on social media, subscribe to the chapter newsletter, and check this site regularly. NextGen members also get a private group chat for events and opportunities.
